How To Transfer a Domain Into EnomCentral From A Different Registrar

The steps in this guide will outline the process to trasnfer your domain from a different registrar into EnomCentral.

This article covers the transfer process for commonly used TLDs into and within EnomCentral. Before starting the transfer process please make sure to prepare the domain transfer requirements to ensure a smooth transfer process.

  • The domain must be registered for at least 60 days
  • The domain transfer lock must be disabled
  • Private registration must be disabled
  • Double check Authorization/EPP Code
  • Contact details (email addresses) for your domain must be up to date
  • Domain contact data must be up to date

It is also recommended that the domain does not expire within 10 days from the time the transfer is initiated to ensure a smooth transfer process.

  • Login to your EnomCentral account
  • Go to Domains and select Transfer a domain name.
  • Enter the domain and its EPP/Authorization code obtained from the losing registrar and click on the “View additional settings” link which you can find just below the Authorization code field
  • Select the transfer method (Recommended: Autoverification), and set add-ons like registrar lock, auto-renewal, whois, and password according to your preference.
  • Click Continue and verify that you have the right EPP/Authorization key and select Continue
  • Review the information and proceed to submit the order. After you are redirected to the confirmation screen, you can check the transfer status by clicking on View the Status of a Transfer Order

EnomCentral will then send an email to the administrative contact email of the domain asking to acknowledge the transfer and provide a set of instructions to progress with the transfer.
