When doing an internal domain transfer, you would need to update the domain’s contact details to match the details of the new owner within Porkbun. To do so, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Log in to the account where the domain is currently registered. Click “Account” at the top right corner of the dashboard and then select “Domain Management.”
- Look for the domain you want to move and click “Details,” found on the far right part of the Domain Management page. Click “Push Domain” in the Account Transfer portion.
- Enter the username for the account holder where you want to move the domain and then click “Submit.”
- You will be routed to the confirmation screen. Ask the gaining party to acknowledge the transfer.
- The acknowledgment email should be like the example below. The gaining party must click “Accept Transfer” to completely push the domain to their account.
