For a seamless transfer of registrar, it’s imperative to have the following requirements ready in order to transfer the domain to 101Domain.
- You must own the domain or be authorized to transfer it
- Obtain and double-check the Authorization/EPP code (case sensitive)
- Domain should not be less than 60 days old and not under the redemption period
- Privacy of the domain should be removed
- Transfer locked should be turned off
- Ensure that the domain’s contact data is up to date
- Login to your 101Domain account and click on Transfer in Domains.
- Type the domain name you wish to transfer and click on the Transfer button.
- Enter the Authorization code from the losing registrar and click on Continue.
- Proceed to Checkout and configure your preferred name servers for the domain and then submit the order.
- You will receive a confirmation email on your email address on file. Another email will be sent to the reg-c email to acknowledge the transfer.
- You can check the transfer status by clicking on the Domains section and select Transfer Pending.
- The transfer process will be completed within 5 days from the time it was initiated.
