How To Transfer Your Domain To Another Web.com Account

The purpose of this guide is to provide you with a detailed explanation of the necessary steps involved in transferring your domain from one Web.com account to another.

Transferring domain names between Web.com accounts can be beneficial in situations such as assigning ownership to an additional account or transferring ownership to a third party.

To prepare for the domain transfer, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Web.com account that currently manages the domain.
  • Ensure that you meet all the prerequisites for a successful domain transfer.
  • On the left side of the page, locate and click on the “Domain Names” option.
  • Click on the “Move Accounts” option found under the “Transfer or Move Domain” section.
  • Select the account to which you want to move your domain.

If the account is not associated with your own, the individual acquiring the domain will need to initiate the transfer process.

Throughout the transfer process, the domain name contacts and name servers that will be established are the ones provided during the transfer.
