To prepare for the domain transfer, kindly follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Register.com account that currently oversees the domain.
- Make sure you fulfill all the necessary requirements for a successful domain transfer.
- On the left side of the page, find and select the “Domain Name” option.
- Proceed to the “Transfer or Move Domain” section.
- Click on the option labeled “Move Account.”
- Choose the account where you would like to move your domain to.
If the account is not linked to your own, the person acquiring the domain will be responsible for initiating the transfer process.
