How To Transfer Your Domain To Another Netim.com Account

The purpose of this guide is to provide you with a detailed explanation of the steps involved in transferring your domain from one Netim.com account to another.

Transferring domain names between Netim.com accounts is possible and can be useful for assigning ownership to an additional account or transferring ownership to a third party. 

You need to order an internal transfer from the other account.

To process an internal transfer (from a Netim account to another), the new or gaining customer must order a transfer on the website: https://www.netim.com/domain-name/transfer.html

During the order the system will detect that it is an internal transfer, the transfer will then be free of charge and the expiration date won’t be impacted.

You will be able to choose between two method for the transfer’s authentication:

  • if you provide the authorisation code, the transfer will be automatically processed.
  • if you do not provide the authorisation code or if the TLD has no authorisation code an email will be send to the current and future customer to request their approval.

Once the request is authenticated, the transfer will be processed.

The domain name contacts and the name servers set when the transfer is done will be the ones given during the order phase.

Such transfer does not change the owner of the domain.
