To transfer ownership of a domain to another account, the following requirements must be met:
- Contact us
Email help@hover.com or call 1-866-731-6556 and let us know that you’d like to transfer your domain
- Get a one-time CODE.
We will email you a unique CODE to the primary email contact in your Hover account.
- Provide Hover your CODE.
Contact us and verify the CODE we sent you.
- Write the account to which you want to transfer the domain and tell us it
If the new registrant already has a Hover account, we can verify that account by sending a different unique CODE to the primary email address on that account. If the new owner does not have a Hover account, we can create a new one for them. Follow the steps above to transfer your domain name. Once you’ve done that, you may need a new domain name for yourself and we’ll definitely help you with that.
