Transferring domain names between Domain.com accounts enables you to transfer ownership to an additional account or a third party.
To begin the process, you need to initiate an internal transfer from your or another account’s owner.
The Transfer process could be done only by contacting the support team.
To proceed, you need to take the following steps:
- Access your Domain.com account by logging in
- Click on the ‘Help’ button.
Then select the “Live chat” button.
In the new window, choose the Topic, Description, and add your question in the ‘Additional Information’ field. Then click the ‘Next’ button.
Your next step is to start the chat by clicking the corresponding button.
In the live chat, you will have to provide the username for both accounts (the account in which the domain is present and the account to which you would like to transfer the domain).
Then you need to authenticate the accounts by answering the security questions for both accounts. Once the authentication is completed, the support team can initiate the transfer, which will take a few minutes.
