How to Transfer Your Domain Into Ionos.com From A Different Registrar

To prepare your domain transfer from another provider, please follow these steps:

1. Ensure that you meet the requirements for a successful domain transfer.
2. Disable the domain transfer lock and WHOIS Privacy to unlock your domain.
3. Obtain your authorization code, which you will need to approve the transfer on IONOS’s platform.

For .uk domains, start the transfer with IONOS and then change the registrar tag (IPS tag) with your current provider to 1AND1.

To complete the domain transfer process, follow these steps:

2. Review the purchase summary and read through the Terms and Conditions (including cancellation instructions).
3. Check the box next to “I have read the General Terms & Conditions…”
4. Click on the “Order Now” button to finalize the transfer.
