How To Transfer Your Domain From Gname.com To A Different Registrar

This guide will walk you through the process of transferring your domain from Gname.com to a different registrar.

To transfer your domain name to a new registrar, you need to follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Gname.com account
  • Click on ‘Domain Management’ and select ‘Transfer Out’

Then you will be redirected to the corresponding page.

Indicate the domain name in the ‘Domain’ box. Then click the ‘Submit’ button.

Owing to the nature of GNAME, transfer-out requests cannot be canceled once initiated. (The domain will be locked, and no operations can be performed until the transfer-out is completed.)

The system will prompt you to transfer out immediately after obtaining the authentication code, as they cannot be held accountable for the safety of the domain thereafter.

Upon submitting your request, you will receive an email containing the Auth-Code, which you can utilise to transfer your domain name to a different registrar.
