How To Transfer Your Domain From Domain.com To A Different Registrar

This guide offers a detailed set of instructions that will assist you in transferring your domain from Domain.com to another registrar.

To initiate the transfer process of your domain name to a new registrar, you need to follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Domain.com account.
  • Click on ‘Domains’ and select ‘My domains’.
  • Choose the domain name you want to transfer 
  • Navigate to the ‘Transfer’ section.

For transferring this domain to a new registrar, all of the conditions listed below need to be fulfilled:

  • Domain is Unlocked
  • Domain privacy is disabled
  • Domain is at least 60 days old or opted out of domain lock

Then you will be able to request an Auth-Code. 

To obtain your Auth-Code for the domain transfer process, it is essential to verify that your domain administrator email address is accurate. This code will be necessary to prove ownership to your new registrar.

Proceed to getting the Auth-Code by pressing the ‘Email Auth-Code’ button.

The Auth-Code will be sent to your email address, and you can proceed with the transfer to a new registrar.
